These non-profits view WILDFLOWER as a valuable conversation starter about mental health and trauma issues. WILDFLOWER is proud to partner with them in connecting people to the resources and assistance they or their loved ones need.
Actress Shari Rigby and executive producer Michael Leaser from WILDFLOWER joined a panel of mental health professionals for a post-screening discussion of the film's mental health themes and how people can effectively address mental health concerns for themselves or for loved ones within their families, churches, and communities.
Panelists included Lance Ahl of Restoration Therapy Center, Renee Cookson of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Kathy Lutes of Mental Health Grace Alliance, and Dr. Susan Trueblood of North Coast Church Counseling Center. Pastor Matthew Schlesinger of Grace Church in Oceanside, California, led the discussion.
